about

Notes: Hannah was a Junior at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999. I was one of the first parents on the scene. It’s a day I’ll never forget, and a day that changed Hannah forever. It’s heartbreaking that school shootings have continued to escalate, 20 years later. – Dana Cain

All proceeds go to the Education Fund for Hannah's daughter, Athena.

lyrics

Safety.
I want you safely.
Home from school today.

Maybe.
You'll put me in your pocket.
Take me.
With you I could stop it.

Taking.
Down the NRA.
Facing.
Off with authority.

Baby.
I know you got this thing.
Making.
Good of where you’ve been.

Enough is enough.
Oh our democracy.
It wasn’t meant to be shady.
Enough is enough.
Oh the hypocrisy.
We are a nation gone crazy.
Enough is enough.
Oh our democracy.
It wasn’t meant to be shady.
Enough is enough.

Waking.
To the reality.
Painting.
A new face on anarchy.

Crazy.
How your ears will ring.
Making.
Good of where you’ve been.

Safety.
I want you safely.
Home from school today.
Safety.
I want you safely.
Home from school today.

Enough is enough.
Oh our democracy.
It wasn’t meant to be shady.
Enough is enough.
Oh the hypocrisy.
We are a nation gone crazy.
Enough is enough.
Oh our democracy.
It wasn’t meant to be shady.
Enough is enough.
